That was amazing as it meant it only took three working days to get here! But most importantly Ozzie positively likes it! The difference between the comfy cone and a normal buster collar is remarkable. He doesn't have fear in his eyes when I put it on him which he always did with the buster collar. He seems his normal calm and happy self, which is just terrific. Its got to so much better for them when they are trying to recover from an op. He did have one accident in it though when he knocked over the rubbish bin which gave him a bit of a shock. He looked around as if to say "Which clumsy so-and-so did that?"!! The bag and harness are absolutely gorgeous!!! I haven't try it on my puppy though since he'll be arriving tonight. Probably I'd want to make sure he can hold himself so he doesn't ruin the bag and he doesn't chew the harness. They're just soo lovely. The toy is so cute it'd make a perfect companion for the puppy. Yep, love socks I do, like my momma loves the cheese which is funny, really sometimes they smell awfully alike. I love ALL socks. Clean socks, mmmmm dirty socks, paired socks, odd socks. Tiny socks, large, black, white, fusha... socks are where it's at. You're probably wondering where I'm going with this. WELL, for Christmas this year, my mom bought me the coolest gift ever. Lemme tell you about it: First off, it's a monkey like me. Cute! Next, if you can buuulieve it, it's a...SOCK! Yep! Sock! But no ordinary sock. This one has sock-tendrils which helplessly flop about as I shake-n-kill. It has a FACE, mocking me from afar. Ooh and it has a magnificent tail. But best part? Sometimes, when I'm very lucky, it squeaks - just a little - sorta like socks I forget are still on momma's feet. I love my Silly Little Sock Monkey so much, in fact, I keep it with me always. If I feel like it, I can chew it for a while, or stalk it, kill it, shake it and sometimes, sometimes I even use it as a body-pillow! No kidding! My only regret? Color just your ol' average sock-gray. If only it were pink...*sigh* Well guess what?! My mom must've heard me whining, cuz low and behold, I now have ANOTHER one!! And guess what?! This one's PINK!! Yeah!! The texture is a little different - feels like the nylon-stuff mom uses to brush my teeth...heeey, come to think of it, I don't think she's had to brush my teeth since! Score! Ok, clearly I could go on like this forever, but I won't. I am a dog, after all, not a salesman. Bottom line? Best present ever... THANKS PAWHAUS!! Then at Christmas I was pleasantly surprised by a extra christmas gift that Amanda sent for my animals. Both my dogs loved the cookies that she sent and my one dog had the stuffy and rope toy in his mouth in seconds. My cat Sassy quickly found the cat toy Amanda sent and took off with it. She won't let any of the other cats near it and I always find it all over the house-it is her new favorite for sure! I loved all the items in the gift basket and my 6 kitties loved them even more. My little black princess, Boo, was strutting her stuff with her collar. They don't usually where collars but she was quite proud of herself. The Meow Christmas Party was well attended by 160 - 170 volunteers and adopters and their families. Everyone had a good time and we received lots of wonderful gifts for the kitties and raised a good amount of money to help support the kitties and the shelter. Everyone was every generous.
