Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue
Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue, Inc. are a group of diverse individuals who have united for the purpose of rescuing Pugs. They come from many walks of life, and have agreed to donate many and varied talents so that pugs everywhere can live out their lives with comfort, love and care.
MIsty Creek Dog Rescue
Founded in 1998 as a no-kill shelter, Misty Creek Dog Rescue is one of many volunteer-run shelters in Western Canada shouldering the burden of the thousands of animals who are abandoned, abused or surrendered every year.
Pawsitive Match Rescue
Pawsitive Match is a not-for-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta, run independently and made up entirely of a dedicated group of volunteers. They work very hard to save dogs in life-threatening situations and give them a second chance at life. Their second focus is then on placing these amazing animals in the right family and creating a “pawsitive match,” as they call it.
Sol "Sunshine" Memorial
The Sol "Sunshine" Memorial fund is particularly close to our hearts. Sol departed for the Rainbow Bridge on March 8, 2010, and in her memory Central Florida Pug Rescue is establishing the Sol “Sunshine” Memorial Fund. Contributions to the fund will be used exclusively for the care and comfort of those pugs in rescue who, like Sol, are of an age and with disabilities such that re-homing is a distant, if not impossible option. For those precious pugs CFPR will provide a loving home and all necessary medical and palliative care until they too cross the Rainbow Bridge. Sol has shown us that life is to be savored through all its twists and turns, and that all our pugs deserve every chance we can give them to live life to its fullest. Sol, we will be forever in your debt for teaching us in your own puggy way so much about our humanity.
